Privacy & Access Analytics

Last updated: October 21, 2026

TryLab uses Google Analytics 4 solely to understand aggregated usage trends, which tools are helpful, and where usability friction occurs.

Information Collected by Analytics

We transmit basic usage events such as visited pages, application start/completion, tool selection, and tool action clicks to Google Analytics. Google Analytics processes standard browser identifiers (via first-party cookies), approximate geographic region, device/browser metadata, and access timestamps.

We never transmit personal inputs to analytics. Application answers, psychological test scores, nicknames, free-form text, uploaded images, PDFs, OCR results, and file names are never collected. The recorded URL is strictly sanitized to predefined page paths—query parameters (?) and URL hashes (#) containing share tokens or answers are completely excluded.

Google Signals for advertising and personalized ad features are permanently disabled. Enhanced measurement events that automatically track form fields are also turned off. You can freely use all tools and apps even when analytics is blocked.

Disable Analytics on This Browser (Opt-Out)

Your preference is stored in this browser's localStorage. When opted out, all event transmissions to GA4 from this browser are halted, and TryLab analytics cookies are removed. Please configure this separately on other browsers or devices. Clearing browser site data will reset this setting.

Client-Side Processing & Data Handling

Unless explicitly stated as a multiplayer room feature, all image manipulation, PDF merging, OCR text recognition, and psychological assessments run 100% locally inside your web browser. Your private documents and files are never uploaded to our servers.
